Exploring Digital Human Avatars for Enhanced Language Learning (Co-I)
This research investigates the international dissemination of classical Chinese poetry through digital innovation, focusing on The Book of Songs as a case study. By developing an AI-powered digital human platform that integrates dynamic visual generation, intelligent voice interaction, and gamified learning experiences, the study aims to create an effective cross-cultural communication model for traditional literary works. The technical implementation combines symbolic abstraction of poetic imagery with advanced AI synthesis techniques to produce immersive educational content while systematically evaluating its effectiveness in enhancing global audiences' understanding and appreciation of Chinese cultural heritage. The project contributes to both theoretical frameworks for cultural digitisation and practical applications in AI-assisted humanities education, offering new insights into preserving and promoting traditional literature in the digital age.
